Does Bryan take design and consulting clients?

Bryan doesn't take design or consulting clients through Zephyr Gardens -- between  gardening, writing, teaching, speaking, he just doesn't have the time.

Developers, property managers, design/build firms, and individuals seeking design, installation, or landscape management consulting can reach out to bryan@suburbitat.org to explore the possibility of Bryan consulting through The High Plains Environmental Center. There, Bryan provides design as well as landscape and garden management consultations for meadows, matrix plantings, and other complex, naturalistic gardens as well as revegetation projects and similar across the region.

Where can I buy Zephyr-developed plants?

Over 15 Zephyr plants are currently in development, internal testing, or third-party trials, like with Plant Select. Many of those being trialed internally will be held for further refinement due to stringent quality controls. Plants currently in trials with Plant Select are expected to be on shelves at local nurseries and via online retailers, like High Country Gardens, in 2027 and beyond.

Where can I read Bryan's writing?

The Rocky Mountain Native Plant Primer, co-authored with Lauren Springer and published by Timber Press, is available at nurseries and bookstores across the region as well as online. Visit the Timber Press website or the Field Notes page for more details. Bryan's writing also appears in regional publications, like NOCO Bloom, as well as national publications, like Fine Gardening, and on his Substack, the Westwind Flyer
