The Rocky Mountain Native Plant Primer is the result of a three-year collaboration between Bryan and his friend, colleague, and mentor, Lauren Springer, designed to address that shortfall.
The book offers a wealth of practical information on how to garden successfully in the region using plants of all kinds, not just natives. It then highlights 225 of the best native plants for regional gardens, with special attention to overcoming the barriers that have historically limited their use - from finding and sourcing plants to discovering species beyond the handful commonly available to learning how to incorporate them effectively into garden design.
